One local number registered to your firm. Every text, call, recording and transcript lands on the claim it belongs to, next to the notes and documents. Pay by the message and the minute, on every plan.
The conversation stays with the claim
A call from a client on an adjuster's cell is gone the moment it ends. In AdjustCRM it is a recording, a transcript and a recap on the claim, and anyone on the team can read what was agreed.
Open the Texts tab on any claim, pick a client or contractor who has opted in, and type. Replies come back to the same thread, and pictures they send are saved to the claim's documents.
Press the phone icon next to any number. Your own phone rings first, you press 1, and we connect the other side from your firm's number. They see the firm on caller ID, never your cell.
When a client calls your number back, we match them to their claim and ring the claim owner, then the other assignees, then a forwarding number, then voicemail. Nobody gets dumped into a personal mailbox.
Every call is recorded and transcribed by speaker. A short recap lists the outcome and the action items, and suggests tasks, deadlines and a note you can add to the claim with one click.
Schedule a meeting of type Phone call and the claim page shows a banner with a Call button from ten minutes before the start until thirty minutes after, with a push reminder to the organiser.
STOP, START and HELP are answered automatically. After a STOP, nothing goes to that person until they text START or YES again, and the thread records it.
Pay for what you use, on its own invoice
Usage is added up at the end of each month and charged to the card on file as a separate invoice. No usage, no invoice, and under $1 we do not bill it. Recording, transcription and the recap are included in the minute rate, and number rental and carrier fees are on us. Calling is US and Canada only for now.
| What | Rate | Counted as |
|---|---|---|
| Text messages (SMS) | $0.02 per segment | 160 characters, sent or received |
| Picture messages (MMS) | $0.05 per message | One picture or PDF, sent or received |
| Outbound calls | $0.05 per minute | Connected minutes, rounded up per call |
| Inbound calls | $0.04 per minute | Connected minutes, rounded up per call |
The ring and the whisper cost nothing. Connected time and voicemails count, rounded up per call.
When a client calls you back
An inbound call is matched to the caller's phone the same way a text is. Each person we ring hears "Call from Jane Sample about 12 Oak Street. Press 1 to accept" before they are connected, so a carrier voicemail can never take the call.
The claim owner
We match the caller's number to their claim and ring the owner's phone for 20 seconds.
The other assignees
One at a time. The order rotates so the same person is not always second.
Your forwarding number
Set it on the Texting & Telephony page. Unknown callers go straight here.
Voicemail
The caller leaves a message. It is transcribed and emailed to the claim owner with a link to the recording.
Four steps, one registration
The registration is per firm, not per person. AdjustCRM checks on it every ten minutes and the page updates on its own, so there is nothing to babysit.
Switch it on
Go to Team Settings, then Texting & Telephony, and flip the switch. A billing admin does this. The rates sit right next to it.
Register your firm
Enter your legal name, EIN, address and a contact person, then submit. US carriers require this registration (A2P 10DLC) for any business that texts through software.
Pick a number
Search by area code and choose a local number. It joins your account right away and starts sending the moment the carriers approve the registration, usually about a week, sometimes less.
Add your phone
Each team member adds their own phone number under Account. That is the phone we ring before connecting a call, and the phone inbound calls reach.
Texting & Calling is part of AdjustCRM. There is no Twilio login, no separate vendor and no per-seat charge. The running total for the month is on the Texting & Telephony page, so you always know what the invoice will say.
